Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Good overall, but some damaged and icy areas; would benefit from re-grooming. Skate skiing path seems better than the classic tracks.

Fast and fun! Tracks were excellent with only occasional thin spots at transitions. Temperature was heading above freezing, but extra violet worked great for me.

Ski this evening around 5pm. Classic tracks much better than Tuesday. Very fast and icy due to the temperature changes. Beautiful evening.

Freshly groomed at midday. Quite nice even though the skate deck is undulating and uneven in most areas.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Snow was not too icy for how warm it was but classic tracks were in rough condition especially in downhill grades. In some parts, no classic tracks at all and groomed too far to left here and there. This was on the 3K. There was a few good tracks laid in back section.

Terrific. The tracks were well used but still solid. Bright blue sky. With the low sun there was a beautiful pattern of light and shadow on the trail.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ B skis ]
We classic skied and one skate skied the short loop today. The trail has been very well used since the last recent grooming. The classic tracks were 80% intact with many corners and inside edges on downhills missing. I put B skis because there were quite a few stick like weeds poking through the tracks. The skate deck was free of the sticks/weeds. Much of the skate deck was undulating. It was still a fun ski on fast snow in great temps. Thank you to the hard working groomers!

Really nice ski this evening. Well groomed, but also well used while soft so there were more than a few areas of washed out classic tracks. The bumpiness from the drifts in the past weeks looks mostly resolved. Skate grooming was looking pretty good, too, although I didn't skate this evening.

Groomed all trails again this morning, they should be in great shape for the weekend. Advanced loops are now open for both skate and classic.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are freshly groomed today and in great shape. A few bumps still from drifting but the North Shore Storm Nordic team came out two days ago and leveled most of the drifts by the fairgrounds. Thank you North Shore Storm Nordic!
