2022-2023 season

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Really nice ski this evening. Well groomed, but also well used while soft so there were more than a few areas of washed out classic tracks. The bumpiness from the drifts in the past weeks looks mostly resolved. Skate grooming was looking pretty good, too, although I didn't skate this evening.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed all trails again this morning, they should be in great shape for the weekend. Advanced loops are now open for both skate and classic.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are freshly groomed today and in great shape. A few bumps still from drifting but the North Shore Storm Nordic team came out two days ago and leveled most of the drifts by the fairgrounds. Thank you North Shore Storm Nordic!

Beginner skier here and classic trail was a bit icy and parts were blown out. Looking forward to new snow.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
We did the inner 3K lighted loop and it was overall pretty good but a fair amount of small debris. Another skier said the outer loop was still pretty beat up.

Tracks pretty well set. Snow a bit bumpy/uneven in areas. Moderate debris on the trail, but mainly needles and other small stuff and actually less than I was expecting after the recent winds. Overall not too shabby!

Evening
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
My daughter skated the whole loop and I skied classic on the 3km and we both thought conditions were superb. Audrey says that there were some bumps scattered throughout the skate trail, but said it was fun. We skied at dusk and it got very dark (the lights did not come on), but we had a lovely time. Thank you to the groomers.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are open. The back part of the 5k near the fairgrounds is very bumpy from all the drifting, it's ok for classic but not much fun for the skaters. May have to get a shoveling brigade out there to level it out.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
All trails are groomed except two advanced loops. Trail is a bit rough in spots due to someone smowmobling on the trail when when it was still wet and made a number of grooves that need to be filled in - otherwise there is a nice base and the classic track looks good.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails: Closed, B skis ]
Broke trail on the lot loop today. Heavy wet snow. One small section of the trail had standing water. A snowmobile had been through and cut a couple of the trees downed on the trail. Still several remain down.
