What a beautiful morning to ski. I went out early to beat the wind that is predicted for this afternoon. The tracks were in great condition, firm and fast. My purple wax over a layer of liquid base klister was very good. Anita and I cranked out 10k. It’s such a refreshing option from walking or biking.

Early morning laps at Hyland. Groomers are doing a great job with the snow. The classic tracks were firm and fast. Skate deck looked like a nice topping of corduroy. Here's to colder temps so we can have a longer loop.

Manufactured 1.8 K (Star and Willow) is packed and tracked overnight, each night, to create the best skiing! Forecast of cold weather looks great next week, but high winds will make snowmaking tougher. Kudos to our overnight crew who are the best groomers!

Excellent condition all around. Even the rodents were out on the “gerbil wheel” today! Little bugger even lapped me.

It was great to have a longer trail. Didn't feel so hamster wheelish. Classic tracks were well set this morning. Skate deck looked flawless. Snow guns were blowing over Frog Pond, the start area, and by the chalet.

Wow conditions were really good. It's good to see lots of people out midday on a Wednesday. I skied a hot lap of 6:38.

Classic tracks on man-made Star loop very good. Snow guns were blazing away and crews were working on next segment beyond Star loop. Hopefully, some more trail can open up soon.
