Hyland was down to two well groomed K's this morning. Hopefully temporary as it's a damn shame to throw away perfectly good white snow like that.

I was ready to call it quits for the season last Friday--but Hyland keeps calling me back! We had a good ski at 1:00 pm. Yes, it was soft, but we still had a decent kick and glide in the tracks. It just felt good to be out on the trails soaking up that warm sunshine.

It's impressive that there's so much snow left and how great Hyland's grooming continues to be. I skied a little late for perfect conditions, between 2 and 4 pm, after the snow had turned to corn. The sun, light wind and solitude made for a wonderful ski.

The never ending season! Wonderful conditions. 28 degree morning temp and skillful grooming created a solid deck and great skiing until after noon when it was getting soft in the sun. Thanks Three Rivers and groomers!

Still good skiing at Hyland! Deck and tracks were powertilled and reset. Used skin skis and they worked great. Skaters were cruising! Beautiful spring ski morning! 8-10 was big time fun!

Hyland Groomers are the best! 5K Manufactured Snow Trails (Star, Willow Creek, Frog Town, Scenic Foothills, and Boulder Ridge) are packed, tracked and in good condition. Closed: Lake, Hill, Oak Knob, North, and Nature Center trails. Note: The Visitor Center is open 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily. Trail lights are on 5K.

Hyland continues to deliver a magic ski deck. The groomers have done a stellar job of keeping the skiing going during the melt down. The entire loop is solid with a few melt divots showing up. A full track of transformed snow is set on the entire loop. Get after it while you can.

The snow making loop was in great shape at my 10:20 start. Car thermometer said it was 40 degrees. Skate lane was firm with enough bite. Softer and deeper on some of the climbs but even the hill down from Boulder was skiable with no problem. No soft snow at the bottom, no sudden decelerations. Even though I walked all of the Boulder climb and a portion to the top of Scenic going out and almost all of it going back, I was still able to cover the three mile loop in 30 minutes. FastWax Yellow LF had great glide, passing a lot of skiers on the long downhill stretch from top of Frog town to the short climb after the shack. Great skiing. Wish I had the stamina to do another loop!

Skiriffic!! Classic skied this morning in the 8-10 window and had perfect tracks and the deck was awesome too. Groomers had power tilled everything and reset the tracks. Every one was toting a large grin and having fun. Pristine grooming on a stellar morning! Thank you for the excellence!!

I got out to Hyland around 10:00 and skied a couple hours. It was a little icy in the tracks at first, and slushy later on. Even with the warm temps, the downhill runs were really fast and exciting. I think it was my "last hurrah" for this season. Many thanks to all the Three Rivers groomers. They do an amazing job!!
