Morning
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
As mentioned, the first 2 loops are open and groomed beautifully. If you were thinking that there is a grace period before passes are being checked, not so! Bring your ski pass. The really good news is that the next several loops are full of snow and opening can't be far behind.

They opened the trails that were promised. For those of us who use miles instead of km each loop is one mile. Great snow, great morning for a ski. Both classical and skate was groomed.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
About 2" were packed on the natural snow trails this morning. The deck is soft and will not be great, but most of the natural trails are ski-able with brush and dirt only coming up in a couple spots. I would not even try to go on the hill trail as there are some huge ruts.

Lots of snow being made. No signs of grooming. Looks like they are making snow up to the frog loop.

Observation Secondhand
[ Trails: Closed ]
I ran the Hyland park trails after work and I am encouraged to see the piles of snow they are making. I can report the downhill has 100% coverage and is in prime condition. I called Three Rivers earlier in the day and they indicated it would be a couple weeks before the Nordic trails are open.
