What a lovely day for skiing! Cheers to those doing the virtual Birkie today - you all looked strong! Classic Skied the Hill Loop, where it was groomed last night but now 75% of the tracks are washed out/not deep. Plenty of snow cover but don’t expect deep tracks on the natural snow trails. Skate deck looked good, but not perfect corduroy. Man-made snow areas are in great shape and fun.

Skied over the lunch hour. Tackled the man made loop and the north natural trails. Found it difficult today on the skin skis to get good kick on either. The man made trail is what you expect - near perfect tracks. The north natural snow trails were good condition with shallow tracks - but definitely skiable on a nice base.

The main loop was good, deep tracks and a good deck. Also did the North Trail, which had very shallow tracks, but with the dusting of new snow, it was fine. Very quiet today (around noon.) Saw a barred owl in the woods on North.

Temps are getting better and with the sun out it was hard not to ski. Man made loop was beautiful as always. Great grooming. Classic tracks are deep and tracked. Very little debris overall. The natural snow trails haven’t been groomed in over 3-4 days. Very hard to ski well.

Track very fast. Artificial snow pretty fast. Natural snow on North trail so slow that I turned around. So cold I couldn’t get my bindings to release from my boots. Check your bindings before you come out.

Freezing conditions with slow snow for skate. Beautifully groomed in the man made loop. A little blown out in the lake trail loop. Classic tracks on the man made look amazing. Deep and clean. Fun day. Thanks groomers.

Skated the natural trails and some of the artificial trails. Overall everything was in good condition. Some sections of the natural snow trails were slightly rutted, as if from when it was warmer, but the rutting wasn't enough to cause actual problems.
