First ski of the season for me here. Snow was soft and slow. Please keep in mind that the grooming is done by volunteers and we're still learning and getting used to new equipment and new terrain to groom on. Trail was covered well, minor bare spots on the field. Some sticks/other debris sticking out through the ground on the lower trails, and a few sticks/ debris down on the trails up top the hills, although I picked up as much as I could while I was out. Some of the trail rolls a bit; the snow is soft and we need more of it to smooth it out/pack it down. Still, it was a great day and I couldn't stop grinning-there's more trail (about 2.5km) that was groomed, and I was out on skis! Ski pass is needed, you can purchase online. There will be a QR code out there on the bulletin board later this week so purchasing can happen on site too.
