Fresh groom either last night or early this morning. Few skiers so far. Trails in good condition and tracks good, with some leaves here and there. But to be expected on a wooded trail. Great morning for skiing.

Tracks just reset. Grooming fixed the leaf problem about 95% tracks are firm but outside pole plants can be soft. Go enjoy before the oak trees strike again!

Trail conditions are improved 100% from the other day. All classic trails both east and west of Pilot Knob have been groomed and double tracked. Mostly leaf and debris free.

Definitely bring your rake. Lots of leaves and debris on the East end. Groomer has not been out since Friday. Lots of drifts in the open areas. Great if you're after some fresh air but a slow go. Might be better on the West end - I didn't have time to go that far today.

Bring your leaf rake. Oak leaves, maple fruits, and pine needles collected in many of the tracks. Wind-blown snow drifts cover some tracks on both open areas and in woodlands. Otherwise a pleasant morning to ski.

Wish I had brought a rake. The high winds had blown pine needles and oak leafs into the tracks any where they were perpendicular to the wind. Sometimes it was easier to ski between the grooves. Open areas had impressive drifts or were scoured down. I am hopeful the next grooming will make a difference.

I skied most of the trails on the east section of the park between 9:00 am and noon. By the time I left the park all trails were groomed and were in great condition. Few leaves or other debris was encountered. Foot traffic damaged a short section of the trail in the woodlands. A good morning for being out in one of the finest parks in the metro area. Thanks to the groomers for doing a fine job and getting the trails ready to go so early in the day.

Skied west trail complex starting around 10:30am. We were skiers 3 and 4 after grooming. Simply amazing. Was able to climb straight up every hill with good glide on the downhills using Blue Rex grip wax. Set was soft and may not hold up well as it warms up, but great in the morning. Kudos to the excellent LH grooming team, great job!

Trails near Schulze Lake were recently groomed. Other trails were only tracked by other skiers, but very good overall. Snow on hills made them slow but safe. Too bad it warmed to 30 degrees. Snow got a little stickier. But there's plenty of snow so skiing will be great for weeks to come.
