It's a beautiful day in Ramsey County. The first loop of machine-made snow is open to the public! The loop around the pond (approx 800m) has substantial snow and is open to classic (two sets of tracks) and skate skiers. All-Access ski passes are now required to use the trails, to find more info go to ramseycounty.us/ski. Happy skiing on the first machine made snow loop in the east metro!

Snow guns and Pisten Bully are running this morning! John said snow is almost deep enough to start grooming so watch for more details when it'll be open for skiing.

Four visible snow guns were blasting snow early Sunday morning.

I counted 8 guns blowing snow. Four were operating near the rec center and four on the east side of the pond. The ground was more frozen than not.

Drove by the park on the way home today, saw three snow guns running that I could discern.
