Argh! The groomed surface was frozen into rutted ice. I skied everything but South America and it was not fun. There was a small section of heartbreak hill that the groomer hadn't touched and it was great. Big bummers. It's such a thin base that I don't know if they can break it up to fix it. I wouldn't recommend skiing at WOB until we get more snow.

Surprised to find Wetland trail still very skiable. Classic tracks were in good shape. Skate deck was mostly very good, but there were a few spots that were worn and needed more snow. Usually able to avoid, just be aware. Note: did not ski area beyond tunnel.

My third time this month. Skied all outer loops classic track very good considering limited snow fall. Bad spots easily voided, skate lane good as well. Groomer done great job. Another great day on skis Optigrip kicked well.

We skied as it got dark. The trails have deteriorated some this week but are certainly skiable. I had to step out of the classic tracks several time due to bare spots. The skate deck was firm and it was fast out there. B skis this weekend.

Generally good conditions throughout. Still some corduroy left on the edges at 11:30, so must have been groomed recently. Skate deck was solid throughout. Didn’t classic, but looked to be good tracks for 80-90% of the outer loop. Some debris starting to poke through, so B or rock skis. Really no walker damage - signage is great and seems to be enforced somehow!

Best skiing I’ve had at William O Brien this year. Skied in late afternoon and thought tracks would be sloppy, but they were very good. Grooming done in the morning helped to even out snow cover. Very enjoyable ski. Fast classic tracks, but not icy.

Groomers were at work this morning before 9am. Trails are still skiable and decent. Classic tracks still look to be pretty good in most areas! Gravel and grass poking through in a lot of spots now, which are easily avoidable. Big thanks to WOB groomers for working with what we've got and giving us a great place to ski!

For skating the trails have firmed up nicely and the thin and debris spots are few and far between. After skiing the whole outer loop, I was going to switch to my good skis and use caution on those few spots, but others might be more comfy with B skis. Be aware, they're not only checking for passes but taking no excuses.

Skied the largest loops and all classic tracks were set. A few areas were thin with grass or dirt coming through on the tracks. The skating deck had less break-through. Lots of folks enjoying the trails and weather today.

A fantastic day for skiing. Classic tracks are in excellent condition through most of the park. Kudos to the groomers. Trail signs are still showing summer so if you're not familiar use Avenza to download a free map for winter.
