A Kaleidoscope of ice and soot. Groomed through dirt and puddles. Be ready for your skis to change speeds a million times. Recommended for die-hards and novelty seekers. Plus side: the lower stadium looked nice.

The groomers continue to work their magic where they can! Snow is melting fast but still just a few bare spots that you can get around. Celebrating a great day with a chai latte in the trailhead. Special day to celebrate plans coming together! Enjoy the spring skiing!

I grabbed the wrong ski bag, so classic it was today! It appears that they are now only grooming about 4k around Twin Lakes Trail, up to the Coaches Corner, and back down to the starting area. The rest was too treacherous to ski due to early morning ice and hard ridges. On the groomed section, before 10:00 am is really the golden time for skiing. The deck is well-groomed, firm, and still has an excellent cover. The tracks were excellent in most places, deep and firm, with some thinner places here and there. I also was able to get a near excellent kick today, so it turned out to be a great morning ski!

Amazingly good for the time of year. Got mushy around noon. Tracks were fast and substantial. A few spots were showing dirt but really very skiable in the meadow and up to coaches corner. The east side had snow but wasn’t groomed and the downhills were weirdly difficult to manage due to rutting and mush. Much better on the groomed trail.

Icy and fast this morning, but it's still skiing! Things are looking dirty, and there are several spots where the thaw/freeze cycle is making bit ice sheets. But, overall, still some great spring skiing if you enjoy the fast icy conditions. Hoping to get a few more days in.

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Conditions weren't quite as good as yesterday at Wirth for classic this morning. The tracks had not been regroomed, while the skate lane had with a narrow band maybe groomed by a snowmobile. Still decent spring skiing, but I'm afraid this is my last ski of the season. The Theo groomers did a super job grooming this year on the snow making loops, and all the natural snow areas including the lakes! I took advantage of all of them! Until next year!

Got on the trails man-made trails today around 2:30 pm. The fresh snow from yesterday was quite slow, but greatly improved the snow cover and the speed seemed to get back as the temperature dropped again later in the evening. It appeared that they only re-groomed a portion of the trail since the new snow, starting from the trailhead, around the Twin Lakes Trail then up to the Coaches’ Corner before turning around and grooming back down to the trailhead. Where the trail was groomed, the tracks looked a bitch sketchy color-wise, but their depth and firmness seemed pretty good and definitely skiable. Overall, the trail is still holding up good and I got a nice workout in!

I skied Wirth this afternoon, and found half the snowmaking trails groomed. There was a deep classic track with enough slush in the bottom to get a good kick and decent glide. The skate deck was in good shape. The ungroomed trails were still worth skiing with a skied in classic track. Wirth keeps on going!

Firsthand: Both Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I skied both classic and skate on the snowmaking loop this morning. The Green Meadow, Twin Lakes, and Coaches Corner trails were groomed and very nice. Per the official Wirth trail report, the golf course sections will no longer be groomed. The North Finger, Catwalk, and La Squadra trails were being skied on, but were not groomed and were quite wet and sloppy.
