A nice set of trails with rolling hills. The first lighted trail system in the metro, it still attracts a lot of after-work skiers.

The trail conditions were quite good this morning and groomed very well, with a handful of icy and thin spots here and there that are hardly worth mentioning here. Clifton E. French Regional Park is a real gem, and few things are better than a long winter ski with a good friend.

Really nice skate conditions at French this morning. A few small icy spots and a bit of tree debris, but otherwise nice firm deck with recent grooming to give you an edge. Lots of classic skiers out. The classic track looked shallow and worn due to lack of snow.

Snow is getting faster, more icy spots and more leaves debris on trails but still good conditions for skate. Probably need more snow to prevent further degradation.

Overall still good conditions for skate, a few icy spots though, good sunny morning ski. Not too much debris, good glide.

Classic tracks were in fair condition. There was a decent amount of debris down, and some areas where the tracks were washed out. But where the tracks were good, the skiing was excellent. As always, I wish the groomers wouldn't set the track so far out to the edge. Dodging branches and bushes isn't much fun.

Very nice snow, a little soft, all trails in great conditions, a few leaves here and there, perfect temperature for a nice cardio.

Awesome ski at French today. The trails are in great condition. Nice skate deck (still firming up a bit) and track set around entire trail.

70% very good, 30% hard ice and not much in between. Wherever the trails saw extended sunshine on the hot day on Tuesday it turned the snow to bare ice.

Trails were mostly ice. I think I would've been better off on ice skates. A few areas back in the woods on the skyline trail were snow covered (thankfully on the downhills). Multiple areas with dirt, grass and roots coming up. The boot imprints from people walking on the trails didn't help either. With regards to classic tracks, everything was ice. Don't think anything would've kicked. Mostly all of the downhills were washed out of track. The land bridge looked in rough shape for tracks. I would say it was about a 60/40 split with track available across the trails.

Finally skied everything at French and didn’t hit any rocks! A few spots you have to be weary on but for the most part, packed and fast!
