A nice set of trails with rolling hills. The first lighted trail system in the metro, it still attracts a lot of after-work skiers.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skated the Lagoon trail loop, repeatedly, as I've been skiing the other French trails other days and wanted a change of pace. Lagoon was in great shape and a lot of fun, well-groomed and nice snow consistency. I think good skis would be fine, although there was some tree debris in places. French has been in surprisingly great shape for the end of the season.

Skated at 9:15 am and no change compared to yesterday, still very good conditions. A few icy spots easily skied around, hard fast snow, minimum debris. All trails open, no icy downhill also. Great skiing day!

Skied at French at 9:00 am, all trails still in good shape, 4 to 5 icy spots not too long. Snow was kind of sugary but very enjoyable. No icy downhill so pretty safe.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Classic skied both Lagoon and Lakeview trails this afternoon. Tracks were set on both, but more icy spots on Lakeview so Lagoon the better option for classic. B skis recommended because of intermittent ice stretches and some melt down on the tracked trails.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I had a good ski this afternoon at French. The skate deck was in good shape except for a couple icy spots. The classic tracks were recently groomed, and in good spring condition with alternating decent snow, slush, and ice. Thanks to the groomers for keeping it going!

Skied French this morning and the deck was being groomed in the 8 O'clock hour. The deck was slightly soft if you are being picky but in great conditions. I noted B skis as there are some spots with minor debris and ice for ski over but I personally felt very comfortable using best good skis. The tracks looked to be in pretty decent shape. Thank you groomers!

Skied at 9:00 all trails at French. Beautiful sunny morning. All trails have been groomed. Good snow with a few icy brown patches on Meadow trail. Skyline trail downhills are not icy. Snow starting to soften around 10:30. Classic track seems in very good shape, made anew.

Beautiful trails today, with lots of snow in the trees. Trails were in very good condition overall. There was one significant patch of chaotic slush that had refrozen into ice, but it was easy to see (because of the tannin color) and easy to ski around and not really problematic. The snow had worn down to ice underneath in tiny spots here and there but it was never big enough to affect anything. Very little debris, nice texture to the snow. Nice surprise at the end of the season.

Really wasn't expecting much after the warm weather but glad I came out. The trails were mostly in great shape, a handful of icy sections but nothing you can't glide over. The hill trail has a closed sign, likely due to all the ice on the downhill section. Very little debris but the stuff that's there is easy avoidable. Definitely worth a visit.

Skied all trails around 9:00 am. Meadows and lagoon overall OK, firm and fast, more icy patches on the west side of Skyline. The steeper downhill are still OK with no ice patch so safe. Classic tracks seemed icy and poor.
