It's been a fabulous skiing season but the time has come to close the trails for the season. Thank you all for your participation and feedback. Spring is right around the corner!

Skate deck was holding up well at 10-11 this morning, with temps rising from 31F and mostly overcast with some headwind from the south/SW. Lots of surprisingly nice firm and even sections, some drifting, and some softness and unevenness that was still very skiable. But overall faster than I thought it would be. Super glad I went for it. Groomers: truly amazing given the tools and conditions -- thank you. There's a special place in the next life for dogs and Nordic trail groomers :) !

Not groomed which is a huge bummer. We tried to make a go because it is a perfect day to ski. Called City parks and rec and was told they're done grooming for the season! Then I checked skinnyski to see what's up, only to find out they are out grooming Como Golf course. I'm really hoping that woman had the wrong information and Highland courses will get groomed today.

Highland 9-hole cross country ski trail is in good shape. Full groom on classic and skate deck. Snow is soft and wet. Enjoy! [ As indicated in photo, Highland 9-hole allows for hiking, skijoring, snowshoeing and dog sledding on the skate deck -- Ed. ]

Yesterday was soft but fast and actually a good ski. The grooming was good but the temps were a little too warm. Today was a bit icy and the ski ruts from yesterday were prominent grabbing skis regularly. It is a very difficult ski today, probably wouldn't recommend for skating. The classic tracks are there, hard to say what condition they are in. I only saw one person out classical skiing. Might be worth a go, but skating is pretty difficult today.

Highland 9 was rolled and groomed with the roller attachment. We are unable to put a classic track with this implement, but conditions are ski-able.

Surprisingly good for March! Full snow coverage, definitely some ice that may turn to slush later, but remarkably skiable and fun. Classic tracks were pretty good. Skate deck looks to be in good condition as well.

Good! Skied 1-1:30 pm. 35 degrees. Ice was thawed and just a bit of ruttiness on skate deck. No damage to skate deck from deep skate tracks. Classic track was deep and fast!

Highland 9 Hole after several loops around, turned out very good. Regroomed both skate deck and classic. Be careful there are icy spots. The end of the year is upon us get out there and rip it up.
