Arrived yesterday morning to perfectly groomed trails, 20F sunny, calm winds. I skied 20km around the inner loop areas as they were the only recently groomed.
The tracks were in perfect condition as well. Guessing the base is still over a foot thick! There is still a ton of snow up there! This is last of grooming for season but said anyone can still come and ski the trails as long as there is snow. May add it was my best ski of the whole season coming in April! If you do ski, best to come early as the April sun is intense and trail softens up quickly.

Cold temperatures means that skiing should be great all day today. Groomers got out and set fresh classic tracks and skate decks on almost all interior trails last night. Expect some tilled up tree debris from the storm especially on the east side beginner trails. The west side intermediate trails are much cleaner and are skiing great right now. Grooming plans: Groomers will be back on the trails tonight!

Groomers got out last night and touched up about 20km of interior trails. Conditions are great with fresh corduroy and deep classic tracks. Hit the trails early though to beat the warm temperatures. This week will be the last week of planned grooming operations. Trails will still remain open even after grooming operations cease.

Really firm conditions at MWP, skate deck was bordering on icy this morning, but softened a little in the afternoon to make for a really fast and fun skate. Spots in the sun tended to get a little sugary by the afternoon but not slushy. Appeared that most people were skating today, tracks were a bit shallow and icy looking and klister or skins would probably be needed at this point. Kudos to the groomers for such great conditions.

Most trails open with about half groomed every other day. Grooming was perfect, skate deck was set hard with deep cord, tracks for classic were consistent. Trails we skied were nepcos, silver strider, base loop, tornado alley, x-c express, all groomed last night. We didn't see any ice or bare spots on trails. Beautiful, even the deer loved them.

Skated the trails from 8-10am today. Lake Marie and all trails leading to it are in great shape. Lots of snow here. Grooming was excellent.
