Overall very good. Track was a bit shallow, and disappeared in a few spots, but even where grass or icy crust was poking through, there was still enough snow to provide grip or glide for my wax skis. Ski deck looked a bit soft to me, but skate skiers were flying by. Snow conditions were very good--good glide on level ground, enough soft snow to easily negotiate hills.

The course was rolled today, and overall has good snow depth. There are a few thin windswept areas, but a huge improvement to a couple of days ago. Come out and help pack it in!

Warm weather this afternoon softened up the icy conditions from yesterday, skiing was pretty good today. A few bare/hard spots but a decent ski today.

Yuck, icy, icy, did I say icy. Missed the middle of the day and went after sunset but cut my ski short. I was hoping warmth of the sun would loosen things up but hoping for better days ahead.

The course was groomed today and a new classic track was set. There are some areas that remained icy after grooming, and there are a few areas of exposed turf/asphalt. Enjoy!

Great conditions for skating this morning at Highland 9. The groomer was out just before so everything is pristine. He was working in the classic tracks when I left. Skated a round at Highland National right before and that was rough-icy, uneven and blown over.

Trail groomed up very well today. The snow has sintered and firmed up nicely. We were able to put a good skate deck and single classic track in. Come out and enjoy the faster conditions!

Snow coverage was good and the classic tracks were well groomed. Most of the classic tracks had been partially or completely filled in by blowing snow. Some sections of the skate deck had ridges, but overall the skating lane looked to be in good shape.

A solid day at the Highland 9-hole. A seriously wide groom, with full coverage everywhere. The deck was hard and occasionally ridgy, and 22 mph winds were blowing fine snow across the deck and into the tracks. Overall a solid venue for a ski.

Fresh groom alert! Highland 9 hole has been groomed with a skate deck and a single classic track. There are a few 1-2 foot sections on the classic track that go down to the grass, but overall it's a good first groom of the year! Come out and enjoy.
