Unfortunately with the warm conditions we will have to close the trail until we get natural snow accumulation.

Skated this morning around 9. Several sections of unavoidable bare ground and grass poking out over the whole course. Soft and mushy but mostly skiable.

An awesome after lunch ski. Despite warm temperatures the deck was not mushy - this was at 1:30pm. The deck had some undulations and uneven bits, but overall it was relaxing and fun. Classic tracks looked mostly okay. There were a few small bare spots breaking through. It had not been groomed that day. In the start area the deck and classic tracks were lost to pervasive dog prints, but this wasn't a problem on the rest of the course.

Took out the crown classic skis today and had great conditions at the Highland 9 Hole Course. The skate lane looked great and the classic tracks were very good.

Pretty hard and good pack on the skate bed, but lumpy in places. A little slick from the cool down last night. Some footsteps from walkers on the eastern parts of the trail. Beautiful temperature. Classic trail looked good. Overall a great ski.

Beautiful day at Highland. Plenty of snow. The deck was soft, but fast enough. People looked to be enjoying classic, too.

The classic tracks were great Saturday and the conditions perfect for no-wax skis (not too sticky or slippery). The skate path looked very choppy and I only saw a few hearty skaters.

Thank you groomer! Rolled at least twice as of 9:30am. No classic tracks set. Loose, powdery, wide course. Woo hoo snow!

The trail at Highland 9-hole golf course was rolled and packed this morning. There is a fluffy 4” base that only get better as it sets up.

Snow cover was somewhere between almost and just barely enough as my training partner and I played a couple of rounds on the golf course. Fishscales would be best but I used an old pair of zeros that just don't seem to get out enough.
