Freshly groomed. Excellent overall. Parks department has done a great job given the limited amount of snow. Classic track well-defined. Skating deck seems to get a lot more use, but it's still in great shape. A few grassy spots; not signifiant.

The cross country ski trail at The Highland 9-hole golf course received a fresh groom this morning. The skate deck was tilled and groomed. A new Classic track was set as well. Enjoy!

Quite pleased with the classic tracks on Highland today! A bit of a thin patch atop one hill, but snow coverage everywhere else was pretty good.

Nice and fast skate deck this morning! My wife used the classic tracks and said they were well set, no complaints. It's sunny and 20, get out for some great conditions!

I'm a beginner skier and had a great afternoon practicing at Highland Golf Course. Tracks were pretty intact, but gone in a few places or a bit iced over. However, it's easy to see the places where others blazed shortcuts around the problem spots. Some sticks and leaves, too, but still a lovely and quiet place to build skills in hills and double pole practice.

9:30 AM 28 degrees! Skate skied on fresh corduroy on good skis-no problem. The classic is also fresh set. Both are excellent - only a couple thin spots to ski around. Thanks groomers!

The Highland 0-hole golf course cross country trail had a fresh skate deck groomed this morning. The base is very thin with a few blades a grass. We need it to snow. The classic track was set as well. Enjoy!

Classic tracks were broken down in a number of places but still easy enough to ski; a couple of very small bare patches, easily passable. Slight iciness in spots. A great first outing of the season for me!

Trail has gotten a lot of use in the last two days, which is a good thing, but track was broken up in a few places and there were some bare spots. Still, overall conditions were good to very good. Skating deck looked fast.

A good headlamp 10k tonight! Classic tracks have good coverage, with one grass spot on the first turn after passing the ballfields, easy to step around. Lots of nice deep tracks, some shallow. Switchback turns are often washed out. Kick was great with rex green. It was 10 when I started and 4 when I finished, with a stiff cold breeze, so rex blue liquid glide wasn't great, needed something colder, although some sections had nice glide and others a bit slow and grabby. But I'm not complaining at all - it's a great little loop, right in the neighborhood, good grooming, wildlife stop by to watch the funny humans walking on sticks, and now we have really nice snow!
