Excellent conditions after the last big snow with both the classic tracks and skate deck in terrific shape. No debris anywhere either or anything else, just snow and lots of it. Parking lot was plowed and there was plenty of room for all the vehicles. Very nice place to ski!

Totally awesome day on the beautiful trails there. Classic track were great, huge thanks for the groomers volunteering their time and effort.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Report on lighting: The section of trail lights near the river will likely not work until spring. The underground wires were damaged. Sorry for this inconvenience, but there is plenty of lighted trail to enjoy outside of this area. I skied last night and it was beautiful.

Skied the trails tonight after grooming today. Skate lane is excellent. Classic track is great with the exception of some soft pole plants on the outside edge of the trail. Overall, the best skiing in early January in years!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails were rolled yesterday and groomed today. Skiing should be excellent, could be some soft spots due to 10 inches of new snow but overall great.

A little slick, needs grooming to breakup icy condition and clean up debris. Lights along river didn't come on, second time this year.

Trail is fast, a bit icy in the tracks. I skied the skate area instead because the track edges are a bit grippy. Groomed recently, easy to climb hills, speed on downhills controllable. Unavoidable small branches and pine needle clusters at times. Swans trumpeting and flying overhead, ravens squawking.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
After our warm weather and refreezing the trails are icy. The skate lane was scratched up today to get rid of the worst ruts. All trails are open and groomed, but there is plenty of debris. The skiing should be pretty good tomorrow with the temps around freezing, have fun and be careful of the hills. If you decide to walk down hills please do it on the edge of the trail--don't walk down the middle!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Green and Blue loops are groomed and tracked. Skate deck is soft. We will work on getting the black loop groomed and tracked tomorrow, as it still has overhanging branches that need clearing. The skate deck should firm up as we go over it more times.
