Notes

A great mix of beginner and expert ski trails. With the inclusion of the Jerry Jolly Trails there is about 25 km groomed for skating and classic. There is also an additional 15 km of classic only trails. With views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands, this is a very scenic area to ski. There is a nice lodge which sells snacks and food as well as a ski patrol and small downhill area.

Grooming 
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Finished grooming, all trails open and in good condition. A few thin spot under the evergreens but otherwise well covered. The surface will be a little on the soft side until it has time to freeze up. Good snow, warming temps and beautiful scenery. This is the place to meet new and old friends for a ski.

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
9" new snow Wednesday on top of a packed base allowed us to set tracks on all the classic only. All the trails were packed and flat dragged. Grooming plans: We plan to comb the skate lanes and set track on the skate trails on Friday. Skiing should be very good for the weekend.
