Skated the trails after recent and first grooming on the Monday. Mostly good coverage except for a few south facing hilltops where there was traces of dirt in the center of the trail. Expected early season lumpy spots. Classic tracks were very good. Encountered a number of walkers with their dogs that seemed to be under the impression that it was allowed on the winter, groomed xc trails. The signage is all very good after the updates the past season. Also, the Nordic center is fantastic!

Classic tracks were set after I skied here Sunday. The skate deck is much firmer today and the brown spots are easy to avoid. There is still a foot of snow on a bench along the South Loop trail. You can rent skis at the new Ravine Landing center which has lovely views of a wooded ravine.
