Really good conditions at the Ravine today. The trails were groomed this morning, and the new snow has created a great skate deck. The new snow also helped cover up some of the icy spots that existed by the lake where the sun had previously caused a meltdown. There was no track set but classic skiers have created one in some spots. I marked B skis but you could use good skis if you would like. It is awesome to live so close to this beautiful park.

Nice coverage with minimal debris that is avoidable. No bare spots. Classic tracks were set and looked nice.

Excellent snow coverage and set tracks for classic throughout. Skate deck soft, but good pack. Only a few very small dirty patches on the course. These trails are hidden gems. Check them out!

Beautiful conditions today at CGR! Classic track set throughout the system and was in good to excellent condition. No icy spots, very little debris, and good snow coverage. A few areas where we could use a little more snow but overall a great peaceful ski.

Skate lanes are level but thin on some steeper downhills and uphills. I would continue to use B skis until we get another snowfall. Occasional rocks and debris here and there. Currently, there are no classic tracks set due to lack of enough base.

Disappointed. It appeared that this beautiful trail system hadn't seen grooming since perhaps Thursday. Plenty of snow for coverage, but the deck was rutted, uneven, bumpy, and hard as concrete. A couple of passes with the groomer to scratch it up might have made all the difference. Really disappointing to find the trails in such poor condition, especially on the weekend.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Nicely groomed trails with tracks set on all natural snow. Tracks are shallow and in some areas have oak leaves in them or grass sticking up. Some bits of branches here or there in the skate lanes but considering the small volume of snow, I would say the skate trails are the Bee's Knee's. The Chalet is open to mask wearers and there are also plenty of portable bathrooms from near the entrance down into the main parking area. There are a few skis available to rent there and a handful of folks are fishing out on the small lake.

Well covered but thin base made for a fine night of skiing. Classic tracks unreliable but the skate deck had enough depth where I did not worry about where I was setting my ski.
