Notes

About 17km total of trail loops near the St. Cloud penitentiary. Some scenic woods and great hills. Just a mile from the Mississippi, trails run on land that was formerly a farm and takes skiers through pastures, forests, and apple orchards. Trails are mostly easy to intermediate with a few challenging hills.

Brothers Groom double team rolled North Loop and the following Graystone Trails for freestyle skate Nordic skiing: Orchard Warm Up Loop and Hilltop Loop. Definitely skiable!

Report and photos from the groomers: Graystone Trail North Loop only rolled by the Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota for freestyle skate Nordic skiing today by 3:25 p.m. Some bare spots with only about 2” on snow depth.
