Notes

About 17km total of trail loops near the St. Cloud penitentiary. Some scenic woods and great hills. Just a mile from the Mississippi, trails run on land that was formerly a farm and takes skiers through pastures, forests, and apple orchards. Trails are mostly easy to intermediate with a few challenging hills.

Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota volunteer Steve groomed North Loop and tracked. Lance groomed and tracked Warm Up Loop, Baldos, Orchard and groomed Hilltop Graystone Nordic ski trails.

Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota rolled all the prison trails and north loop. The snow is soft, but no bare spots. Grooming plans: Plans are to track set all the prison trails Thursday. North loop parking lot plowed.

Report and photos from the groomers: Graystone Trail North Loop only rolled by the Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota for freestyle skate Nordic skiing today by 3:25 p.m. Some bare spots with only about 2” on snow depth.
