Skate deck was all ice. Not considered safe. Ski trip aborted today. Pictures do not capture the ice very well.

Skate deck on Birches, Biathlon Loop, and Lighted loop is getting worn down yet skiable. Mild debris present and the deck is starting to form a crown. Per's loop is still skiable and acceptable, including the uphills. Ski selection is a toss-up between rock skis and good skis. Classic tracks were visible and shallow with variable amounts of tree litter. A new snowfall would improve the trail coverage but the conditions were still acceptable.

Skate trails groomed early this morning; Per's Loop appeared to have been groomed yesterday. Good conditions encountered and Per's Loop was better than expected. Good coverage and pole plants with wide, level deck and minor debris. Shallow classic tracks visualized, with moderate debris. Overall, conditions for skating were good.

Early afternoon skate ski on the maples, birches and lighted loop. Good coverage with occasional tree debris. Skating was great and the classic tracks looked thin and at about 1/5 depth and washed out in some places.

Skated Birches, Maples (Per's), and connectors, at the peak of the warmth today. The snow is fast, for sure. Some areas on Birches and Per's have some visible skate grooves (vs grooming) on them, but the snow has a bit of an ice layer which helps keep from get stuck in unwanted paths. Classic tracks on Oaks look good, but other places seem a bit thin. Just a couple of thin and bumpy spots in the skate lane, and one spot of small cones on Per's loop, but otherwise a really fun time on fast snow. I recommend waxing a tad colder than air temp to take best advantage. While we could always use more snow, all in all it is well worth the visit today.

Perfect day to ski the Camp. Exclusively skied the Maple loop. Plenty of coverage, good purchase for edges, minimal leaf/acorn litter, nicely groomed. Where is was a bit thin on outer portion of that loop, easy enough to avoid. Thanks to groomers for a zen day!

Strided Oaks, portions of Birch, and the lit loop on freshly groomed 1/4 depth tracks. Stake deck also freshly groomed where observed. Conditions were soft, but should firm up nicely. Worth the ski. Carpe Skiem!

Skated all of Birches, Maples (including Per's loop), and additional connectors. By far the best conditions thus far this year, even if the fresh snow was a little slower in places. They were both rolling and grooming with the Tidd Tech across all trails, and were probably 75% done by the time evening came. Most debris is gone, even in the furthest stretches and the additional snow has really helped fill in the previously thin spots. All in all, well worth it. Many thanks for the amazing work, groomers!

Classic skied Oaks and lighted loop. Tracks were in much better shape than midweek. Looked like they had been reset with little bit of new snow. 90% of debris was gone. Much thanks to groomers.

Overnight snow was groomed into skate deck but classic tracks appeared untouched. Mildly soft deck which was wide and level. No debris. Uphills on Per's loop had good coverage. Biathlon trail was scenic. Glide was poor due to cold, dry snow. Safety note: downhill section of Per's loop after Jct 138 and just before 131 has protruding large, sharp tree limb on east side of trail.
