2021-2022 season

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skated from the Old 32 lot this morning, both red and blue, heading North. Great conditions throughout, and despite the occasional spot of debris, there is so much snow and quality grooming that it is definitely good ski conditions. Observing the classic tracks, they were well set, full depth, and essentially free of debris every place we looked. While some of the long hills may test your mettle, this system is definitely worth the trip to get in miles and miles of quality skate or classic!

Yellowstone groomed golf course and trail from Sullivan Springs to north end. Single track set north end and double track set golf course. Other portions of trail groomed yesterday. With cold temps, trail should set up nicely. Conditions are very good.

Lakewood is a winter wonderland! We kicked all of the trails north of the Old 32 Parking lot while another 2-3 inches of snow fell on the already perfectly groomed trails. Skiing in a snow globe, nothing better! Carpe Skiem!

Our trails were totally regroomed today, by Tom Lane. I skate skied the black trail from 15k to 20k and back. First one on the new corduroy. The groomer buried most of the leaf problem. Lakewood will have excellent conditions for this weekend skiers.
