The groomer did great mixing in the 2 new inches of snow with the old snow. Skate lanes were level, firm and consistent. Best snow I've skied on this year and maybe in the past couple of years. Classic tracks looked in good shape especially with the new snow. Great day of skiing.

We received a little under an inch of fresh snow this morning. All decks reset this morning, sorry, no new tracks. Trails are good to excellent throughout. There is some debris out on Black and Blue, but groomers have been raking, and it is all skiing quite well. Green: open, tracks set 1/28, good skis. Purple: open (field is good, woods has debris), tracks set 1/28, good skis in field, B skis in woods. Blue: open, tracks set 1/27, good/B skis. Black: open, tracks set 1/29, good/B skis.

Skied the black and blue loops. Arrived early morning 5F to absolutely perfect groomed trails. Was one of the first ones on the trails. found it to be fairly fast considering the temps. Kudos to the grooming crew-Was best groomed natural snow trail I've skied on all year. The grooming crew should teach a class or a forum on grooming- these guys are the best!

Trails are holding up really well during this cold snap. We reset skate decks on all trails today except streamside. Decks are hard but fast with good control. Some leaf debris out on parts of black and blue but it is minimal. Grooming plans: We plan to reset streamside on Tuesday. We will start resetting tracks later this week as the temps start to come up. Green: open, tracks set, a skisPurple: open (field is good, woods is icy), tracks set, a skis in field, b skis in woodsBlue: open, tracks set, a/b skis Black: open, tracks set, a/b skis.

For skating, the green loop is mostly very hard packed and difficult to get an edge. The blue loop is better; most of it has enough loose snow to get an edge but a couple of hard-packed spots. The purple loop is a mixed bag, some of it seemed to have been groomed recently and has loose snow but the rest was hard and some of it had substantial debris. For classic, the tracks on green, blue, and purple are old but mostly filled with the most recent snow so there is good grip with kick wax. Occasional leaves and other tree debris in the track and on the skate lane.

Ungroomed from yesterday. It was icy boiler plate, not much for edging. We skied a few hundred yards turned around and bailed. There were some old tracks that appeared icy as well. Wish we would have looked on skinny ski first and saw that standing rocks had scratched up their base, about same drive for us, oh well.

We have received a couple inches of fresh snow over the past 48 hours. All skate decks were reset today and are in great shape with a nice layer of fresh corduroy with a hard deck below. Tracks have been set on all trails within the past four days. Some are in better shape than others due to wind and snow depth. Grooming plans: With the incoming, we won't be grooming tomorrow, and we will see how the weekend shapes up. Green: open, tracks set, good skis. Purple: open (field is good, woods is icy), tracks set, good skis in field, B skis in woods. Blue: open, tracks set, good/B skis. Black: open, tracks set, good/B skis.
