We received maybe 5 inches of fluffy snow last night. All loops were packed, groomed and tracked this afternoon. Conditions are good throughout, a couple thin spots in the classic tracks.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I groomed all loops this morning and finished about noon. We received about an inch of freezing rain ice crystal accumulation yesterday, with maybe a half inch of snow on top. It is a hard thin base and icy if you get off the groomed area. It is skiable but use caution, downhills are fast. There is the usual couple rocky spots showing on the yellow. There is no classic track.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We received about an inch of fluffy stuff over the weekend, it was helpful. I groomed the skating lanes on all loops this afternoon. Overall fair to good conditions on the skating lanes. The red and green are the best. Watch for a few icy and/or bare patches. The brown is in poor condition under the conifers. I didn't do anything with the skating lanes. Parts of them are good and parts are poor.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I groomed all of the skating lanes late morning today. It was an icy hard pack that is thin. The grooming helped alleviate some of the iciness. Very skiable but pick your skiing line carefully to minimize surprises of icy spots and some scattered bare spots. Some areas are good and some are poor. The green and red are the best right now. The brown has a lot of debris in the beginning and the end under the conifers. The yellow has a couple of rocky spots that have tops visible sticking up on the east side and downhill on the north end.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Got a light dusting last night which helped a little. I groomed all of the skating lanes on all loops. I went over much of the classic tracks while grooming. The classic tracks are in poor condition. The skating lanes are in fair to good condition. There are some bare spots to watch for.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The 1/4 inch from Friday was just enough to get an edge on the very hard pack. Most of the trails are good, with only a few thin spots under the pines that can be avoided.

Good conditions, just a couple bare spots easily avoided. More footprints than usual as well. Tracks in decent shape. Skate lane looked good overall.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Not much new from grooming on Monday. I did groom the skating lanes this morning. Definitely made for a smoother skate deck. I left the tracks as is, they are firm but have a few thin/bare spots. Overall conditions are good considering the thin base. A few dirty spots especially under the conifer areas. A couple rock tops on the east yellow ridge and the steep downhill on the north yellow loop.

Firsthand: Both

Though it was very cold - close to 3F - skiing was wonderful and the place is very magic with a lot of pines. Very convenient location too, and easier to find than Greenbush trails.
