All trails combed this afternoon. Skate deck in good condition, although soft. The golf course was tracked, fair condition with shallow and icy areas. The Woods (north loop) was not tracked.

Skijored the mult-use trail at Chomonix. The trail was in fantastic condition. Fresh corduroy. No bare patches. Two icy spots but they were easy to go around.

Skied the golf course loop. Groomed but no classic tracks. No bare spots and very little ice. They seem to be using the current snow as a base waiting for more snow to lay classic tracks?

Dusted off some X-Cold gripwax and headed out for a beautiful sunrise ski. Tracks were in great shape, just a few sections of leaves and washouts. Great snow coverage. There was fresh powder over a rolled deck. The off-camber section returning from the south had 2 spots where ski marks had exposed some asphalt, showing the base is still thin. Per the Park Planner the north section from the YMCA is multiuse again this year, which my skijor buddy is very happy about! Thank you Anoka Parks.

Skied mid-afternoon, happy with still decent snow coverage but stay out of the wooded sections -- almost a blanket of leaves on the trails. The section that rolls past the prairie stretch is pretty bumpy. But on the positive side, the golf course side trails are pretty good. Nice change of pace skiing here, almost no hills whatsoever.

First time I've skied Chomonix. It was like March skiing. Just transitioning from crust at noon. Some good surface, a few rutted icy patches, a few small patches of dirt, a couple of stretches w/ lots of leaves. Great to be away from the crowds on the loops and so close to home!

All trails groomed today. Golf Course is groomed and tracked, Woods of Chomonix loop is groomed but insufficient base for track. Trails will be soft until they firm up overnight with favorable temps, expect fair to good conditions.

All trails rolled on Tuesday. Grooming plans: Did not get to grooming today as promised due to equipment issues and warm temps. Plan to attempt to groom in the morning but base is questionable. More to details come Thursday.
