I could see that the trails had been well-groomed recently, but the deer apparently weren’t impressed. Halfway through the shelter trail, there was a section about 1 km long that had hosted about 10 deer bedding areas. As a result, the tracks were thickly strewn with oak leaves and, in two areas, holes were dug about 4–5 inches deep. I wouldn’t recommend skiing that trail until we get more snow and it’s groomed again.

4-5 inches of new snow. Groomed all trails and set track. Surprisingly, a few areas with debris showing through the track still. Overall, very good.

4 inches of wind blow snow fell yesterday. Rolled all trail segments with 6 foot wide roller. No tracks set since base is 2 inches or less. Freestyle ski the trails.
