Notes

This trail is very hilly, rolling and scenic. It winds around five different lakes, through stands of maple, aspen and balsam. There are a couple fairly steep hills requiring intermediate skiing skills. A shelter with a fire ring is located on the trail.

All loops were leveled and 95%+ tracked this morning. Some short sections were left untracked due to low snow. Expect low snow in spots, but overall the trail is in fair to good shape!

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails: Closed, Rock skis ]
The 7-8" of snow of fresh snow that we had as of Tuesday morning settled pretty substantially after a couple of days of warm temps. The trail was packed with the snowmobile this morning (and cleared of some down trees and branches). Overall there is pretty good snow coverage on the trail to start building our base. No grooming has been done yet and skiing is not recommended at this time. With more snow in the forecast for this weekend we will likely be back out on the trail early next week.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails: Closed, Rock skis ]
There is 7-8" of snow on the trail after a significant snowfall yesterday. Grooming operations have not yet started as we're still preparing things after the gun deer season. If all goes well we might start packing the trail before the coming weekend.
