Notes

Mcnaughton Lake Trail follows old logging roads around three lakes and has very few steep hills. It is very scenic and an excellent trail for a beginner. A five and a half mile loop is groomed for skating. There is a shelter with a fire ring on the trail.

Yeah kudos to Sara for grooming! Was great to ski our home trail. Both my wife and I like the way Sara groomed: no tracks on downhill and only single track on uphills. The trail had a great deep track with great coverage. Checked the skating deck out at shelter and looked and felt great. The trees were gorgeous! Trail is in great shape, go SKI!

All loops were groomed today. Classic tracks are in good condition, and the skater's loop was groomed and is good condition. Skaters be aware of the rutted area near the parking lot.
