Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed at about 12:30 PM very nice conditions. I did some shoveling on a couple of spots that were dirty and at some bridges. Still A skis but know that there is pavement below Plenty of snow on the sides if anyone is able to do a bit of shoveling we can make it through til colder weather.

Excellent conditions. Park staff groomed Monday late morning leaving strong skate deck. A couple of bridges getting thinner. Bring a shovel and keep this thing going :).

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I skied classic on the golf course side (about 5 k) today at noon. Set tracks were glazed enough that I quit skiing after 15 minutes. Doubt the grooming equipment available can deal with the glazing - just need new snow to work with. Current snow cover is good with minor problem areas. Skate deck looked good and skate skiers were active.

Observation
Classic tracks looked shallow and skied out, and it looked like there might be damage from folks walking in the tracks. I did not ski or check out the skate deck and opted to go to a different trail system. Snow cover looked adequate, so skating conditions could still be good.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails on the golf course were groomed again yesterday and continue to be in great shape. Firm and fast with almost no debris. There are a few small patches now lacking snow cover that can be easily avoided.

Beautiful conditions continue; nice to have an option close to Milwaukee. Trail appeared to be groomed overnight. Good coverage overall.

Groomer had been out an hour before I skied. Still some corduroy remaining. Very good skiing and good to see a number of skiers taking advantage of the conditions. For those who live on the north shore this is a great option if you don’t have time to drive out to Lapham Peak. Many thanks to the groomers, you’re work is greatly appreciated.

Skied a couple of loops which are about 5 KM. Groomer was out and left great conditions behind. Track set, left before groomer made passes to reset, if he did.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails starting to get icy after temps cooled down late afternoon. Very hard packed snow with some bumps frozen into the snow. Classic tracks were very fast. Couple bare spots and branches poking through the snow.
