Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skate deck has been groomed but classic track has mostly been filled in by the wind/snowdrift. Windy conditions are blowing lots of snow on the course and has exposed one or two areas to watch out for.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied at 8am, track firm and set, several places vehicle from tree trimmers crossed track. Had to be careful on some of the downhills because of oak leaves in track which can cause unexpected slowdown.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied outer and inner loop this morning - about 5k total open and in fine condition. A crew is out trimming trees - several very choppy spots in the deck where they'd driven the gator across the trail. Aside from this, the skate deck was firm and fast. The classic tracks looked quite good too (minus leaves here and there).

Grooming

Made a few more passes to the trail this morning to continue widening and leveling the skate deck. Still a little soft, but hopefully getting more level with the extra passes.

Trails were groomed for a couple of hours in both the morning and afternoon. They are in good shape after all the fresh snow. Classic track is set, skate deck is in great condition.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied over my lunch break today, appeared to be the second person to ski today, after the groomer. No classic track set, but skate was fresh corduroy, in amazing condition. Could feel some ice, just under the surface, and a few blades of grass poking through on sections I assume were bare a few days ago (just on windblown hill sections). Get out there if you can, it was great today!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed Friday afternoon. Most sections aren't too bad, but hills have some grass showing due to thaw. Some icy sections, but some light snow the night before improved most of the course. Classic track is fairly icy.

Skiable, but super icy due thaw and freeze. Skate trail surfaces are rutted with frozen skate tracks. I skied it and it was fast, but went down a couple times. Classic was super icy as well, didn't even try.

Classic skied both loops of the UofM golf course this morning. Classic tracks and skate deck in good condition for the majority of the course. Looked like the groomers had been out there earlier in the morning.

Skied both loops this morning. Tracks were in good condition and a beautiful start to the day! We could see a few others in the distance but it felt like we had the tracks to ourselves! A bit windy but got warmed up pretty quickly. Enjoy!
