Grooming [ Trails Open: All, ]
|
We got too much snow for grooming once again so I dragged the trails Thursday afternoon. Friday morning I was able to groom the trails even though I got stuck many times. Conditions should be fine although perhaps a bit soft. The woods are beautiful after the last snow. The parking lot is cleared.

Grooming [ Trails Open: All, ]

We got a little more snow than I could use the groomer on so I dragged the trails and used the tracking sled to groom the trail. All segments tracked although the track lifting is not done on corners or some hills. Conditions should be very good or better.

Grooming [ Trails Open: All, ]
|
Groomed all trails this morning with the groomer. Previously I had been packing and leveling and setting a rudimentary track which resulted in decent conditions but now we have the real thing. Conditions look like skiing should be terrific though perhaps the base may not be quite as hard as normal. The parking lot is cleared. Go ski!

Firsthand: Classic [ Trails Open: Most, ]

There has been a lot of effort put into packing the trails. East side is completely packed and tracked. The west side is completely packed and the main trail is tracked. Tracks are well formed everywhere and have an occasional soft spot. Overall the trail is firmer than expected. Overall conditions are very good.
