Skate lanes were refreshed Sunday night on the 2.5K and 6K loops. Should be firm and fast with the cold temps. Short section of classical tracks were reset from the main trailhead, otherwise all remaining tracks are still in very good condition. Grooming plans: Skate lanes on all remaining trails will be refreshed Monday morning. A light dusting of snow on top of firm trails leaving very good skiing conditions.

Re-grooming after the weekend melting and subsequent freezing was completed this morning. Conditions are again excellent, as we have come to expect from the crew at WinMan. Classic tracks are deep and solid, and the skating deck is also solid. The glide was awesome, making for a fast ski around the loops on a perfect winter day. Essentially no tree debris.

2.5K and 6K loops were groomed this morning and are in very good condition. Icy tracks have been cut and reset. Skate lanes have soft corduroy. All other trails are open but skate lanes and tracks have an icy glaze from yesterday's warm temps then freezing overnight. Please ski with caution if you ski these trails. Grooming will continue throughout the day.

Skied Winman this afternoon and conditions were superb. Skate decks were the flattest they have ever been and the classic tracks were deep and fast. This is a wonderful facility that does not charge is users a dime. I have skied here since Winman was born and the trails have never been better. The skate decks do not have a crown like in years past and the classic tracks are deep.

2.5K and Out ‘ N Back groomed this morning with tracks set. Training Loop groomed out to first intersection (U) with new track set. Skate lane on 6K also refreshed this morning. Should be excellent conditions on all trails.

Skate skied the trail this afternoon, the 6K loop was very good in the beginning but became slow toward the end. The back loops forming the 11K had little to no corduroy and together with being soft was a little disappointing. The skating deck needs work to become firm enough for a good ski.

Training Loop and Papoose Trails (trails from Papoose Lake Rd. trailhead and east that cross the snowmobile trail) were leveled and re-groomed Thursday afternoon. Skate lane and tracks looking sweet although all trails received a very light dusting of snow overnight. All trails should ski well on Friday.

Skated the 11k and out and back. Conditions were excellent. Track looked solid as well. Gene is back at it. Enjoy the trails.

After a disappointing weekend for many of our skiers, and ourselves, WinMan Trails is back to its usual high grooming standards. 2.5K loop was groomed last evening. 6K and Out 'N Back were groomed this morning. Rest of the trail system was groomed in the past 24 hours, with the skate lane freshened up this morning. Skate lanes and tracks in excellent condition. Some tracks may have a light dusting of fresh snow on them.
