Fabulous conditions on all the trails for classic. I haven’t skied this good of conditions and great wax job on hard deep tracks in an age. It’s old snow with super hard tracks. My Blue klister with a coat of purple hard wax over it was great.

Skied the entire outer loop (Hill / Lake / Nature Center) and 99.9% of the trail was in excellent condition. There were a few avoidable areas where dirt has been chewed up into the track. One area on the lake loop the classic track had collapsed (right past the picnic table) Tracks were firm and well defined. Probably some of the most fun I've had out skiing this year.

Skied the man-made loop in the early morning. Pristine conditions. Skate deck was perfectly groomed and classic looked solid as well. Kudos to the groomers....how fortunate we are to live in MN.

Skied the man-made trails and some of the natural trails. The man-made trails were in good condition, and the natural trails pretty good, although there were a few thin spots.

Skied the north loop in the Lake trail on the natural snow. Excellent conditions, bring your good skis. There were only a couple of small areas where the ground was showing through. Great to get off the man-made track.

I’m sure that with the recent snowfall(s) everywhere is great right now, but the Hyland natural trails are in some of the best shape I’ve seen. Maybe one or two dirty spots from the groomer churning up some soil, but those are easily avoidable. Grab your good skis and go ski the Lake loop/Hill trail. It’s not often that they’re this nice!

Skied man-made and natural loops. Skating deck fine on all, though some very dirty spots on natural, especially leading to Richardson nature center. Classic tracks good, but icy on man-made. Natural tracks, except for Lake trail, haven't been reset in a while; tracks washed out in places. It's a pity these natural trails aren't kept up, as we don't get many days with enough snow to enjoy them.
