Skied in tracks after late yesterday snowfall of about 2 inches. Skied both east and west classic trails. Visitor center staff member indicated Lebanon will probably re-groom trails tomorrow. Hopefully, additional snow soon.

Some icy patches, but still enough snow to be skiable. Some areas free of icy patches were really nice. Majority of the trails are tracked out for classic.

Very icy! I skied posts 5 to 6 at Jensen Trailhead, and it was glare ice. I quit that trail and walked to Jensen lake to classic ski around the lake in the skier set tracks. There was some ice but surprisingly a lot of soft snow on those shallow grooves. I only have one set of skis so I can't advise on B skis, etc.

The rapidly falling temperatures converted the slushy trails from the afternoon to concrete-like ice. Very fast where tracks were intact. Areas where tracks were washed out was very difficult to navigate, and the frozen boot prints didn't help. I elected to stay off the steep hills and quit early as it was getting cold and windy. Won't be very skiable til regroomed.

Conditions were fair. Track appeared machine-set in a few spots but was frequently skier- set and totally absent at all intersections and all hills - up or down. There was snert and roots coming thru in a few spots. There was the usual extent of oak leaf litter which compounded the problems I had with my Rex Red kick wax. Anytime the track disappeared the looser snow would clump on my ski bottoms and I picked up lot of leaves on them too. It was about 34 degrees at my 11:30 start and pushing 40 degrees when I finished at 1:30. Surprisingly given it cleared to full sunshine at the end, I ran into at least three couple minute bursts of sleet or rain. Despite the nice weather, my ski of most of the perimeter trail on the east side was not that great. Had to stop to scrape the clumping snow off at mile 2 and rewax to extend my kick zone fore and aft to get better bite. Application itself was a hassle with long strings of wax getting everywhere. But inconsistency in my kick and glide was the most aggravating. I'd get going at an ok pace but then run into a section with no track where the loose snow would clump onto my ski bottoms and I'd go through the gymnastics of exaggerated shuffles to get it off and reestablish a decent kick and glide or I would hit a leaf or, a few times, really warm snow on a downhill and come to a muscle pulling/ligament stretching near stop. Hope we get more snow and moderately cooler temperatures soon.

Skied all of the Lebanon Hills West classic trails between Pilot Knob and Johnny Cake starting at the Pilot Knob underpass near Jensen Lake Trailhead. About 80-85 percent of trails are double tracked and all are groomed. The middle connector trail that shortens the loop is groomed but not tracked. There are a lot of foot prints on the sides or between the tracks, especially by Wheaton Pond on the far west side. Thankfully most of the foot prints are not in the tracks. Very good snow coverage.

Great day to be out. Schulze Trailhead was packed, largely due to a MYSL event. Tracks were shallow and sometimes non-existent on the interior trails and close to Shultz. Trails were much better on the Southern Voyage loop. Tracks on the final climb onto the top of the expert hill were pretty well obliterated. Took the opportunity to educate several hikers on trail etiquette. Wax used was to Toko Red Glider, Swix Blue Extra for Kick with a violet toe pocket. Use good skis with caution, still a few roots are exposed.

Nice afternoon to be out. Tracks were shallow in most spots but still enjoyable ski. Good snow coverage. Lots of people out enjoying this great trail.

We skied from the visitor center along the perimeter through the equestrian trailhead. Tracks are in good shape, especially after you get a little ways from the trailhead. Already some leaves in a few spots, but great conditions overall!

The trails were much better today than on Saturday since they tracked the trails overnight. I did not see any bare spots so I would rate the packed and tracked trails as very good. Skied from Schultze Beach to Jensen Lake and back. The park was much busier than yesterday, lots of people enjoying the fresh snow.
