Woof, treacherously icy. Avoid. What a bummer! These trails need more snow.

Skied classic trails west of Pilot Knob out of Jensen Lake Trailhead. Very good solid tracks. Outside of tracks soft. Lots of birds chirping in the sunshine and woods. Beautiful day to be out xc skiing!

Plenty of of snow, plenty of skiers today. Tracks are very soft and slow. Very well used on the north side. Tracks better around the south side. Not too many leaves in the tracks, yet. Could really use another groom. Swix Blue Extra provided decent kick.

Best ever! Skied in from Jensen Lake trailhead. Groomers had packed from road to tracks so didn't have to navigate icy bank of snow to reach tracks. Brilliant! Very quiet skiing through Lebanon. Just lovely!

Immaculate trails at Lebanon today. Skied the outer loop on the eastern trails. Expertly groomed but soft and slow. Only a few oak leaves. Should be great this weekend.

I started at Holland Lake and skied around the entire east side of the park. The trails are nicely groomed, with the usual walker footprints up the middle in some areas. I used my skin skis today and they worked great in the new soft snow. Get out to enjoy it while the snow lasts!

Went snowshoeing at the west section of the park and observed that the skate trails had been packed with perfect corduroy. Wish I had come with my skate skis. Someone is going to have a great time today!

Skied as the second storm was rolling in. Trails had been packed earlier in the day, but not tracked. It was a good opportunity to get out the light touring skis and go for slow ski while breaking trail. Snow was coming down hard and blowing to boot. Hopefully the trails will be great this weekend. Just skied the eastern trails near Schultz lake.
