Still great skiing at Wirth. There is a little ice, some dirty snow, one or two spots of bare ground (that are easily avoidable), and some slush on south facing slopes and areas with little cover. Besides that, trails are still very firm and fast. The "back 40" trails and the Sprint course are still open.

Pretty good trails this morning. There was one bare spot that I saw, but it wasn't too big to go around. The snow was a bit dirty in some spots. I didn't see any classic tracks on the loops that I skied on. The trails were pretty much empty when I arrived, and when I left the were a few more people, but they were easy to avoid if you're worried about catching the virus. Just avoid eye contact and you won't be bothered.

Thanks to the Loppet Foundation for grooming some decent tracks on the Twin Lake trail. I was there at 10:30 with my skins. Worked fine. Soft and slow but great to be outside in these times. Fun to see a family ready to go. Keep getting fresh air everyone.

Beautiful late morning ski at Wirth - tons of sun and the snow was quite good until close to 11am when some of the uphills were getting messy. Even so, fantastic conditions and we got to see Jessie skiing with the Stillwater nordic team.

Amazingly fun conditions at Wirth early this morning. Full coverage, firm and fast. No ice. Note: The Trailhead building is closed (for the foreseeable future) and the lights beyond the stadium were off, but the parking lot was full when I left. Well worth the drive.

Got out at sunrise this morning and skied 5 laps on the World Cup Course plus the Twin Lakes trail. Total distance was 3.6K or so. The track was hard and fast! Some of the fastest skiing I’ve done this year. The trails are really fantastic. Thanks to the Isaac and the rest of the trail crew at the Loppet Foundation for keeping things groomed this week. Pretty easy to stay 6’ away from everyone, so get out there and enjoy some amazing trails!

The world is closing down, but you can still do a quiet pre-dawn ski on perfect corduroy at Wirth. Thank you to the crew for keeping us going! The course has been clean and great shape in the early morning. A few icy spots heading into green meadow, both before and after the gate, but overall good shape. World Cup Course slightly shorted to turn at coaches corner (can no longer go up ridgeline).

Loved the corduroy this morning. Fast and perfect for skating at World Cup close gathering. Hope they keep grooming.

Started out classic with the kids. Tracks were present on green meadow, but not the sprint course. There was still a firm deck under the sugar, but the last uphill to green meadow was harder to get an edge on. Skated after that and did all open sections. More snowplowing than I’ve seen before, especially on Twin Lakes. But all doable. A beautiful sunny day for my last of the season. Thanks Wirth!

Skied Sunday morning with a large turnout to celebrate all the hard work put into organizing the World Cup. The trails were freshly groomed and in top notch shape. Plenty of snow to easily hold the World Cup, and could be skiing for quite a while yet. There are still some huge piles of reserve snow even! Kudos to all involved!
