A nice set of trails with rolling hills. The first lighted trail system in the metro, it still attracts a lot of after-work skiers.

Skied at 9:00 all trails at French. Beautiful sunny morning. All trails have been groomed. Good snow with a few icy brown patches on Meadow trail. Skyline trail downhills are not icy. Snow starting to soften around 10:30. Classic track seems in very good shape, made anew.

Beautiful trails today, with lots of snow in the trees. Trails were in very good condition overall. There was one significant patch of chaotic slush that had refrozen into ice, but it was easy to see (because of the tannin color) and easy to ski around and not really problematic. The snow had worn down to ice underneath in tiny spots here and there but it was never big enough to affect anything. Very little debris, nice texture to the snow. Nice surprise at the end of the season.

Really wasn't expecting much after the warm weather but glad I came out. The trails were mostly in great shape, a handful of icy sections but nothing you can't glide over. The hill trail has a closed sign, likely due to all the ice on the downhill section. Very little debris but the stuff that's there is easy avoidable. Definitely worth a visit.

Skied all trails around 9:00 am. Meadows and lagoon overall OK, firm and fast, more icy patches on the west side of Skyline. The steeper downhill are still OK with no ice patch so safe. Classic tracks seemed icy and poor.

Started at 9:00 am, all trails in good conditions, fast firm snow. At 10:00, softer and slower snow already with higher temperature. No debris on the trails but these temperature will not do any good...

Skied all trails at French around 2 pm. Very good snow, getting faster compared to two days ago. Deck getting firmer, almost no debris on the trail. Very nice and smooth glide.

Very nice smooth corduroy this morning at French. No icy spot, soft/slow snow but better than ice. All trails have been groomed perfectly.

Coverage is pretty good; a couple of darker snow spots and scattered organic debris. Challenge Hill was an A. However, I found it difficult to skate with all the heavily washboarded areas, which now cover approximately 60 percent of the trail. French is the only trail system I've skied that seems to have this issue.

Good conditions and a nicely tilled surface. A few rocks here and there to watch out for but overall very good.

Sunny, blue sky, windless... a great day to be out skiing. Add to that very good conditions for skating at French. Groomer had been out earlier and the trails are well-covered, just slightly soft from the new grooming but lots of fun and virtually no leaves or tree litter. Doesn't look like classic tracks were re-groomed but what was there looked skiable. Thanks groomers!
