Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skated the Oaks and Lit Loop trails in 7 degrees under a gray sky with light winds. Found plenty of good stretches that were repeated to maximize the fun. Required patience at times to navigate around wind debris, but certainly worth the ski. Carpe Skiem!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
Skate skied Oaks, Maples, and the Lighted Loop during the afternoon. Oaks was in very good shape, as it had been groomed today. Very nice skate deck with minimal debris. Maples had not been groomed in a couple days. The skating deck was firm, but no issues with getting an edge. Marginal debris. I used B skis, but good skis would be fine on Oaks.

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skated the Oaks and Lite Loop trails while a moderate and accumulating snow fell. Full coverage on the Oaks, including the Cedar swamp stretch. Trail had not been groomed from the most recent snow leading to a slow glide. No tracks, but it sure was beautiful. Carpe skiem!

The skate deck on Maples, birches, biathlon and lighted loop had residual grooming from yesterday. The tree debris arranged from negligible to moderate. Glide was remarkably fast despite humidity and warm temperature. Good skiing today.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skated the Oaks and Lit Loop in 31 degrees under a sunny blue sky. Though a little soft I skied on clean snow with full coverage. Highly recommend skaters take advantage of the Oaks while it remains untracked for classic. Trail was under active grooming. Carpe skiem!

The skate lanes on Maples, birches, and lighted loops have an inch or more of fresh powder. The glide was slow, but there is 100% coverage. No classic tracks were apparent. Some residual ruts and very rare ice patches are present in these areas.

Received 1.5-2" overnight which was ungroomed but made for a magical ski thru the woods. What a great way to end the year! Skated the Oaks and the Lite Loop in 24 degrees with very light snow falling. No exposed ice on either of these two trails. No classic tracks. Carpe Skiem!

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skating was done on Maples, birches, and biathlon trails. There is a variable amount of tree debris present. The skate deck was in good shape and glide was better than expected. Other than debris, there are very rare ice patches which are easily navigated. Overall, good skate conditions. No classic tracks present.
