Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
I groomed and set tracks on the entire man-made loop, It is in excellent skiing condition. You can definitely use your good skis on the man-made loop. The DNR is grooming the entire trail system. It is thin in some areas, I would recommend using rocks skis or B that you don’t care if they become rock skis.

Excellent conditions on the manmade snow loops today. Loose layer of snow on a firm base is great for skate. Solid tracks for classic in most locations.

The skate deck was tilled by the Pb on the man made loop. Conditions should be great. The classic tracks were left as is. The whale at the entrance was spread out and the start area was cleaned up. Do to the work done some of the classic track in that area was tilled over. This will be addressed in the coming days.

Excellent conditions for skate and stride. The overnight grooming firmed up the new snow from Friday. I suggest not using your best skis off the manmade snow loops.

People were being turned away from the entrance because of capacity issues. This may be an ongoing issue on the weekends. I understand the conditions are still quite good though.

Trails were groomed after last nights snowfall, but the heavy usage has churned up the surface, resulting in loose snow on a firm base. Tracks are taking a beating with so many skiers but appear to be holding up. Great conditions combined with nice skiing weather makes for an enjoyable ski day.

Just another perfect day on the manmade snow loops, which were groomed again overnight. The skate deck is suitable for World Cup competition. The tracks are deep, firm, straight, and formed in natural snow. Excellent.
