Lots of snow but very little grooming on ski trails over the weekend. Unfortunate because there were of many skiers out trying to make the best of it.

WinMan trails were not groomed as of 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. 3-4” of new snow on deck and no track. Not the first time this season this season that I’ve experienced lack of grooming at WinMan.

All trails groomed in the past 24 hours. Skate lanes and classical tracks in excellent condition. Trail renovation ongoing on short sections of trail where conditions will be variable.

The east trail segments (trails near snowmobile trail) were groomed this afternoon with tracks set. Conditions are very good on these trails. Quickest access to these trails is from the Papoose Lake Rd. trailhead. Trail renovation has begun on the 2.5K and 6K loops to remove crowns and otherwise level the trails. Trails remain open during this process but conditions will be variable with no tracks for short periods of time.

The crew is doing a great job keeping things groomed up here, even with the 2 to 3 inches that keep coming down daily. Had a lovely ski in perfect temps today before the snow started really coming down. Only a couple connector trails were not groomed, but enough skiers out to cut track through those. Worth the drive up to Winchester.

6K, 8.5K, Out 'N Back and Training Loop groomed this morning. Beautiful corduroy so come and enjoy it before it snows again. Fresh tracks also set. Some two-way trails only have a single set of tracks on weekdays, so please share with on coming skiers.

It was a fabulous day skiing with a bunch of friends at Winman. I had never been before and it was superb. The hills are gentle which pleased my wife, and the grooming was spot on. All the trail markers I saw were easy to follow. The upshot: full and deep snow cover, great grooming, the warming house is really nice. I really recommend going here, and bring some cash for a donation.

2.5K, 6K, Out 'N Back , Training Loop groomed Friday morning after Thursday evenings drizzle and light dusting of snow. Other trails groomed Thursday. Excellent conditions.
