Skied the man made loop only. Very minimal ice and I was surprised how good the conditions are. Still plenty of base.

Great job groomers! Natural trails were groomed to perfection! Thank you. Skied North trail so fun to still be on natural snow!

Beautiful, sunny morning at Hyland. Trails were fast! The man-made trails are in perfect condition /also skied the North loop which is still in really good shape (2 small bare patches).

The man-made trails were in good shape thanks to daily grooming. The classic tracks were a bit icy in spots, but good overall. I also skied some natural trails. I tried the Lake Trail - it was well packed for skate but there were no tracks set (at least at the first portion). Then I skied Oak Knob, the classic tracks were in better shape than I expected - mainly hard snow. There were some icy spots from melt water flowing across the trail.

Got out just before sunrise on this frosty morning. The skate deck was in mint condition. A bit squeaky on some of the uphills, but quite fast overall. With any luck, there’s still plenty of great skiing to be had thanks to the fantastic groomers.

Skin skied the man made snow loop this morning. Fast and furious tracks and can still keep control of the downhills. Deck looked great and skaters were cruising. Riding the rails in high gear and cruise control. Tell your boss you need a mental health ski day and get out here!

Skate-skied natural snow trails. Very hard pack and with ice in some sections. A good portion of trail is very skiable with good snow coverage and grooming. Some bad short sections have roughed up ice to ski over to the next good section. On hill loop, there is one hill where you need to take detour off the trail to get around bare ground facing south. I wouldn't recommend classic, many icy sections and shallow tracks.

Classic skied the man-made loops this morning on skins. Fast deep tracks. Kick and glide... supremo! Able to control speed on downhills. Mid 20's and sunshine. Great spring skiing. Get it while you can!

Wow... I was stunned at how well the natural snow had held up to the recent warm temps. And it was groomed to near perfection. I was skating, but the tracks were also largely full depth. There were 3 easily avoidable places where it was melted to the bare ground on the north/nature center loops, and a few icy sections on the Lake loop. But no worries about using decent skis. Of course the manmade snow was also perfect but I love to get out beyond the manmade when it's possible. Thanks for the great grooming Hyland!
