Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed skate deck and set classic tracks on JOC, WC, gold, silver, and bronze. Cleaned up the A climb, but tracks are a little meh. It is still pretty soft out there and it will be obvious in some of the tracks. Have fun!

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All problems are solved by snow. Groomed the Gold, Silver and Ski Games trails for skate and classic. All have good coverage, and the cold tonight should set up the trails for good skiing on Monday.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Scarified the skating surface on the Gold, Silver, Bronze and JOC (ballfield) trails. Still very hard, compacted snow. Be extremely careful on the downhills. No bare spots, saw only one icy spot at the bottom of the longest downhill on the Gold (the one paralleling the street). Ski Games trail in good shape from yesterday. Existing classic tracks mostly firm.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
The grooming helped to make it skiable but several icy patches, especially the turns at the bottom of hills. Also, lots of debris on the trail from the trees.

The skate deck was groomed for all trails this morning. The classic track was not reset and is in fair condition but leaves are once again showing up.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Grooming continued today at Battle Creek. We got to the Ski Games trail and did a quick pass down the skate lane on WC/Gold trail. All tracks are in OK condition on the whole system. Skate deck is good to very good as well. We will continue to work the trail, each day it will be better. We are very lucky we don't have any place with a glare ice base.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed the skate lane on Bronze and Silver Trails today. Had to go over it several times since it was so hard which did leave time to do the Ski Games Trail. The classic track is OK but a few leaves in the trees. skating is better as you can get an edge almost everywhere we have groomed. The snow is fast so be careful on the downhills.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed the Bronze, Silver and Gold which took some time as the track was very hard. Also set classic tracks on the same trails. Looks quite skiable although I'm sure it is quite fast. Sorry but did not get to the Ski Games side yet, shooting for tomorrow. Be careful as there are some icy spots at the bottom of a few downhills. Hope we get a couple inches of snow soon as it would really help.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Grooming has started. Multiple passes started to break loose the hard pack from the recent melt. The prairie portion of the Bronze trail has been groomed for skating (no track yet) to the base of the A-climb (below map point 5). There was perhaps a 2k loop at 9am. More work is planned later this morning. Use caution on the trail - there are a few ice patches and the edge of the trail is very hard, with some ski grooves and in places foot tracks.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skating deck on Gold, Silver and Bronze resurfaced. Conditions about as good as it gets: firm trail, good track, few leaves and no bare spots.
