The snowmaking loop was still in excellent shape for both skate and classic skiing this afternoon. 99% of the trail is in good shape with just 2-3 short spots that have gotten watery and slushy and are breaking down threatening the contiguity of the trail. Amazing how well the artificial snow is holding up and the grooming is excellent.

Another beautiful morning at BC. Fresh grooming on the silver. So happy to wring additional days out of the season in such style. Thanks to the groomers for their work.

Excellent conditions on the BC manmade loop this morning. The main bronze course had a couple of ice spots but nothing real treacherous. The steep world cup climb is getting pretty thin and subsequently was fairly icy and a bit dirty. Bronze cutoffs were excellent. I did silver which had begun to soften in the midmorning temps but it was a bit sketchy with some ice patches and yesterday's ruts.

Battle Creek man-made snow loop was in perfect condition this morning. Tracks were super fast, very firm with ice on the bottom in some places. I didn't do any of the natural snow trails so nothing to report. Blue sky and lots of skiers out!

7 AM ski. Bronze trail classic and skate well groomed. Ski season at BC just past 120 Days of well groomed ski days. This being a learning year to operate ski area, we must give Ramsey CO passing grade excellent!

Man made snow classic tracks were fantastic at 10:30 this morning. Thank you groomers for a fast 5 mile workout. I'll see you again tomorrow - Wow.

Skied the snowmaking loop and that extra top overlook oval late afternoon with my son Peter. Shockingly good conditions for March 22nd, despite expected slushiness with some dirty snow and a couple of semi-icy patches. Above-freezing temps were the key to the trail's skiability today.

BC man made trails were amazing this morning with one caveat for this early morning skier... no lights. Lights had typically been on prior to 6am, but no lights this morning as we were leaving at 7am.

One more time the man made snow loop was groomed and new tracks set. Still looking good. Lots of skiers out enjoying the bright sunshine on Monday.
