What better place to ski than here. We had lots of fresh snow and Pete groomed more than once a day. Perfect classic and skating. We go every year.

Nice weekend trip up to Phelps and skied the great trails at Afterglow on Saturday and Monday. On Friday night/Saturday morning Pete was out grooming the 6 inches of snow that was received Friday evening. He was back out in the morning to regroom the 6 inches that were falling. We classic skied and skated and both were a 10 out of 10! We came back Monday morning before heading out and the trails were again re-groomed to perfection. If you have never skied here, this is a destination of great trails and grooming. Thanks again for all your hard work Pete!

All the trails were in great condition with nice deep tracks. Today was the fourth time I've skied Afterglow this year and it is amazing how Pete keeps the trails in such great shape all the time. Thanks Pete and your family for such a great place to ski.

Pete has knocked himself out keeping up with the grooming with the 12 inches of snow the last couple of days. Today was a beautiful day for classic skiing with nicely set tracks. Skating was very good considering all the new snow. Thanks Pete for all your efforts and commitment in keeping your skiers happy!

Six inches of new snow were groomed before the trails opened. New snowfall after trails opened was also nicely groomed. This diligence made for excellent classic and very good skate skiing. Lots of smiles on skiers at Afterglow today!

The trail was groomed perfectly. I skated but used the tracks on downhills too. Perfect corduroy (no left over snow or ledges of snow)... with a light dusting on a firm deck. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

New snow was groomed and track set in top notch (typical Pete M meticulous grooming) condition, when we skied in the morning. The base is excellent. A wolf had visited one outlying trail after Pete groomed before daylight and left a series of tracks in the skate lane. That completed our great experience.

It was a great ski day at Afterglow. The trails were immaculately groomed for both skate and diagonal. There is plenty of snow and the scenery was beautiful. The trails, as usual, were a perfect 10+.
