Skated the whole course today. Snowmaking trails in excellent shape as expected. Silver was good but gold and ski games were a bit uneven. Lots of walkers/sledders on the trails leaving boot prints and tracks all over. Some exposed and dirty areas on the natural snow trails but easily avoidable. All in all still a great nye ski.

What a treat! The new manmade snow loop is excellent with a perfect skate deck and tracks. The natural trails are also quite good though the tracks are thin in a few places.

Again skated every inch of Battle Creek. The freeze-down after mid-30s rendered the hilly back non-snowmaking trails occasionally hard and uneven; some of the sharp downhills were a bit tough to control. But the snowmaking trails, up top and in the prairie, were in great shape. Ski Games trail is solid, though getting there from the hilly back trails is a challenge for now.

Skied every inch of Battle Creek today: all is quite fine, well groomed with mixed surface due to mid-30s temps. Ski Games is fully groomed, though a bit soft, and classic folks will find many oak leaves in some sections.

High school: TC Nordic ski meet will take place on Wednesday, December 28th, from 3 - 5pm. Trails are not closed to the public, but be aware this area will experience a high volume of skiers during the timeframe of the meet. The natural snow trails could use a little dusting, Battle Creek oaks are a mixed blessing. The snowmaking loops are biased to skate skiing with many of the tracks pretty tough to hold on the corners. The A2 climb is a bit thin but it's glorious to be skiing the full complement of trails.

Man made snow loop groomed and new classic tracks set. Conditions remain excellent. Gold and Silver trails in good condition.

Skied the Gold and Ski Games trails today. The Gold had decent skate deck and classic tracks. The Ski Games loop could use some rolling. The classic skiers seemed better off, in my opinion.

Groomed and set new tracks on the entire man made snow trail. Waited until early morning to groom based on the forecast of new snow. Unfortunately no snow but trails remain in excellent condition.

Fabulous/set classic tracks. Love skiing this course and I so appreciate all of the work done over the last number of years to get machine made snow at Battle Creek. Thank you. Skate deck looked fun, too.
